| I have read that you can pinch back lisianthus to create a shorter, bushier plant, and I was wondering when and what to pinch. Any suggestions? Thank you |
| I've had good success by pinching back the stems early in the spring (when they reach 6-8" in height). This will encourage the production of side stems and additional flowers. Later in the season, when the first flush of flowers are spent, cut the flowering stems down by about one-half. This will encourage additional stems and more flowers.
