The Q&A Archives: Life Of Impatiens Plant

Question: Will impatiens that are planted this year come back up next spring?

Answer: Impatiens are tender annuals and will die at the end of the summer season. Some impatiens set seed, however, and you may find new little plants growing the following spring. Don't count on this happening, but if it does, enjoy your bonus plants!
