I'm not sure where to plant a Dwarf Astromeria I just bought. I had an idea where I wanted it(full sun), but the label says Sun Exposure = shade. I had looked around and thought I would be able to plant it in full sun to partial shade . What type of sun exposure does it really need? Please explain how much and when as well...
Thanks!

In your hot summer climate, Alstroemeria will need shade from afternoon sunshine. If you have a site that receives morning sun and afternoon shade, it would be perfect. Study your garden carefully - sometimes neighboring trees or shrubs can cast afternoon shade on an otherwise sunny bed. Hope you find just the right spot for your Alstroemeria!
