Goldflame Honeysuckle vine grows to 15ft - is that height or width too - how far apart should I plant the vine so that my back fence of 74ft gets covered evenly?

To create a dense, hedgelike appearance, I'd plant honeysuckles 48-60" apart. Goldflame will eventually grow into a 3-4' wide mass of vines. If you plant them 4-5' apart, they'll grow into one another in just a few years. If you space them 8-10' apart there will be some bare space at the base of the fence, but the vines will grow outward in all directions and cover the fence.

Best wishes with your landscape!
