Spring and fall are usually the best times to plant landscape trees and shrubs because weather is cooler and rainfall abundant, both helping root systems establish quickly. Roots continue to grow, even when temperatures are cool so planting now will get your cypresses off to a good start.

If you're purchasing a large quantity of plants, your local garden center may offer a discount. It doesn't hurt to ask!
