| Peonies are perennial plants and their tops will die down after the first frost. After the tops have wilted and died, cut everything off at ground level and spread a few inches of mulch over the top of the soil. In the spring, push the mulch back and new stems and leaves will appear, followed by beautiful flowers. Enjoy! |
