Are Lilac Hibiscus (Alyogyne huegelii 'Santa Cruz') subject to becoming infested with white flies like other hibiscus?

The blue hibiscus is just as prone to white flies as other types. I know that parasitoid wasps are being released in southern California in an attempt to control the white fly populations. Perhaps the population of these garden pests will be controlled soon. I hope so!
