I got a beautiful Camelia few days ago, but I did't bareroot it. Instead I planted the pot with the Camellia, now I'm wondering if it will grow healthy not been underground. Please tell me before be too late. |
Nancy, I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. We are transitioning to a new Q&A system and your question was unfortunately lost in the transition. I have discovered it now and hope this reply is not too late to be of help. As far as the camellia is concerned there is still time to fix the situation. You should pull the plant and remove the pot then reset it right away. Plant it at the same depth it was growing in the pot. Good soil drainage is essential for camellias so if the area lack great drainage build up a raised planting bed or find a better drained location in your landscape. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
