I got 2 queen palms about 10 ft. tall on November, after a frost they got all brown, I cut them all the way to the trunk, I have a drip line with 2 2 gallons an hour tip I water twice a week. So far, no green at all. Do I need to do anything else, Are they dead or should I wait longer, should I fertilize, do they need more water then the 4 gallons twice a week? Please help.
thank you

Maria,

There is nothing to do at this time but wait. Keep the soil moist but don't overwater it. If the terminal bud at the top of the trunk was killed in the cold the plant will not regrow. If it survived you should start to see new frond emerging from the top after some time and warm weather conditions.
