I have just purchased several of your 'Sparkleberry' Winterberry hollies, and need a male pollinator. Unfortunately, the nursery I bought them from does not carry 'Apollo,' which is the recommended pollinator. Do you know of any St. Louis-area Monrovia suppliers who carry 'Apollo'? (If it is even a cultivar that you supply...) Failing that, do you know if 'Jim Dandy' would be an appropriate pollinator? Thanks, Sue P.S. If you maintain a database of email addresses, I would appreciate it if you would NOT add mine to it. Thanks!

You have your choice of male pollinators for your 'Sparkleberry'. Along with 'Apollo', you can use 'Dwarf Male' (2' tall), 'Jim Dandy', 'Southern Gentleman' and 'Late Male'. I wish I could tell you which local nurseries might have these, but all nurseries order independently and there's no way for me to track their current inventory.
