Question: I'd like to use Asian Jasmine as ground cover in the yard. Does it bloom? Ans about how high will it grow? Also, how fast willl it grow?

Answer: Gigi,

Asian jasmine does not bloom. It grows to about 6 to 10 inches high depending on how long it has been in and whether or not you mow it back in late winter. It is a bit slow to establish but if you water and fertilize it well it can fill in fairly well in a couple of growing seasons.

If you prefer to have blooms you might want to consider Periwinkle (Vinca minor) or Asian Star Jasmine (Trachelospermum asiaticum).
