| In front of one of my rental houses is a fairly steep hill. I would like to cover the hill with Ivy, but am not sure how to start, and how much ivy to buy. Is there a certain type that would spread faster than others, or is there a better ground cover to use? |
| Lesley, Ivy does best in a shade to semi shade area. You can plant it about 2-4 feet apart depending on how fast you want it to fill in. If your area is sun you might consider another groundcover.
