| Sarah, There are several different species in the Ensete genus of plants. Red Abyssinian Banana (Ensete ventricosum), perhaps the most commonly grown one, is only hardy to zone 9. You can grow it in a pot if you bring it in for winter before it is exposed to freezing weather. Then in spring it can go outside again. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
