The Q&A Archives: Reviving lawn after dog urine burns

Question: Hi. I've a small patch of lawn to the side of my house & deck which my dog uses to relieve himself, and now it has become yellow and dry without any grass growing. I know that there is nothing one can do, but flush with water, but my question is this -

Can I put sod or lawn seeds to try reviving the lawn a little bit atleast so as to not be an eye sore? If yes, what lawn seeds/sod and where from do you recommend? Application, fertilization and care tips would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!
