| I also have bulbs that didn't get planted last fall and am wondering if they will make it. They have sprouts on them and I have a lot of different varieties, other than daffodils, tulips and crocus. I was wondering about forcing them in other containers and them putting them in the ground or should I just chance planting the healthiest right in the outdoor soil? Also what might I put around them to nourish them? |
| The very best thing you can do for your bulbs is to get them into the ground as quickly as possible. They have already begun their journey and you cannot keep them from developing foliage and flowers. You can plant them in the ground or in containers. Plant them twice as deep as they are wide; a little bonemeal in the bottom of the hole will boost their growth. Best wishes with your bulbs! |
