The Q&A Archives: replanting

Question: Can tulip & daffodil bulbs be replanted in soil that is somewhat rocky?

Answer: Pamela,

Yes, as long as there is some decent soil there to grow in, as opposed to mostly rock. However I should add that in the south tulips are not very good about naturalizing to return year after year. Some daffodils are dependable naturalizing bulbs.
