I just bought some plants to go in my water garden at Home Depot. However the only instructions is the depth in which to place plants but not how to plant the plants in what kind of soil or not.

Terri,

It is difficult to generalize without knowing which plants you have. In general there should be soil in the pot and a heavy clay type soil is usually best. For a more specific answer please submit individual questions to the website about the plants you purchased. We can then comment on how each should be planted or whether to plant it in soil or not.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
