| We layed St Augustine palmento grass and our lawn is partly shaded, with shallow root trees. We now have dead patches where the sun is not prevelant and also where the trees shallow roots are. What can I do to help this grass grow? |
| Tina, The problem may be due to competition from tree roots which would require more watering to see that the turf gets plenty. It may also be due to lack of sunlight, and to some degree most certainly is. You can have the trees pruned to brighten the shade so light intensity is increased. It may also be that your turf is suffering from some type of disease or insect pest.
