Containers & Hanging Pots for Shady Areas - Knowledgebase Question

I live in Midland, Texas and my patio is pretty shady. What type of plants do you suggest for containers and hanging pots?

Some plants for shady containers and baskets include: impatiens, torenia (wishbone flower), caladiums, ferns, beefsteak plant (Irsene), Aztec grass, purple heart (Setcreasea), dwarf ivy (many types), and polka dot plant. Also consider using houseplants which thrive in such an environment: pothos, philodendron, ficus, corn plant and Dracaena.
