| I apologize for the delay in answering your question. The so-called chives and onion grass type weeds can be very difficult to control in a lawn. I would suggest you work with your county extension to develop a control and maintenance plan. They will be most familiar with which products are best to use (and licensed for use in your state) and can tell you the best time of year and method of applying them for the best results.
