I have a bunch of cantaloupe seeds that I saved from a melon. I would like to plant them to grow future melons. I live in Florida and don't know when the best time to plant them would be, or what sort of conditions they need. Please help! Thanks!

Amanda,

Sow them anytime now that we are past all danger of frost. Plant them about 1-3 inches deep and keep the soil moist until they germinate. Give them full sun and fertilize lightly when the plants have about 5 true leaves, and again just as the vines start to spread out.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
