I have a bunch of cantaloupe seeds that I saved from a melon. I would like to plant them to grow future melons. I live in Florida and don't know when the best time to plant them would be, or what sort of conditions they need. Please help! Thanks! |
Amanda, Sow them anytime now that we are past all danger of frost. Plant them about 1-3 inches deep and keep the soil moist until they germinate. Give them full sun and fertilize lightly when the plants have about 5 true leaves, and again just as the vines start to spread out. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
