There are hundreds (actually, probably thousands) of dwarf conifers on the market and most nurseries and garden centers will offer at least a few. You would need to check locally to see what the different stores have in stock. Otherwise there are some speciality mail order houses that would offer a selection for example (These are listed in no particular order.) Forestfarm http://www.forestfarm.com/ Greer Gardens http://www.greergardens.com/ Fairweather Gardens http://www.fairweathergardens.... Heronswood http://www.heronswood.com/ White Flower Farm http://www.whiteflowerfarm.com... Keep in mind that the term dwarf is a relative term and so while the plants may grow slowly and mature to a smaller size than is normal for their type, very often they can still grow to be quite large over time. Your local professional nursery staff and cooperative extension can help you determine which plants might be suitable to the location you want to plant. Enjoy your little trees! |
