I live in the desert where temperatures can hit 120 around July for several days, but run 110's most of the summer-June to Sept. Very slim possibilities of frost in the winter. I want to border a 150 x 330 ft lot for privacy. We do have a lot of wind in the winter months-about 25% of the time. I plan on irrigating the plants. What is a fast growing, thick, drought resistant bamboo--and where do I get it and how close should I plant? Some areas of our lot are like beach sand and some are more sand and rock--very alkaline-mohave desert. Thank you!
