My Camelia, flowers go brown and drop within a few days, what's wrong? Its on a south facing wall |
Denise, It may be a fungal disease. These flower blights are common especially when rain or watering keeps the plant wet frequently. There are some insects that feed inside flowers but they generally do not cause the overall browning and drop. I suggest you visit a garden center and inquire about an appropriate spray for such camellia problems. Pick off and discard any affected blooms and try to not wet the foliage and blooms when you water. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
