Could you please offer some suggestions for shrubs in the bright yellow/green(chartreuse?) category that will stay very small; in the range of 2-3 feet tall and wide? I am in zone 6-7, and these locations will vary from full sun to afternoon shade. Thanks so much!

You might look at the golden barberries, some of the summer flowering spireas such as "Lemon Lime" and "Goldmound" and possibly some of the dwarf conifers in gold tones. In morning sun you might even be able to use one of the larger gold hostas. Your local professional nursery staff should be able to help you identify plants that would do well in the growing conditions where you want to plant and meet your design criteria. If they do not have these then they may be able to suggest some substitutes. Good luck wiht your project!
