| If these are annual flowers (and also for perennials that are still tender from the greenhouse) you would definitely need to cover them to protect them from frosts and freezes. When temperatures are still dipping into the 30's it can shock them unless they have been hardened off. They will also do better if you wait until the soil has had a chance to warm up a little bit. This would be about a week after your last expected frost. |
