I would like to paint my childrens handprints and names on some paver bricks I bought. What kind of paint should I use and do I need to seal it so it doesn't wash away in the rain?

Amy,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question as we are transitioning to a new Q&A system. I hope this reply is not too late to be of help.

Use an outdoor latex as it is much easier to clean off of your children's hands than oil based paints. Then seal it with a clear coat product. Your local Home Depot paint department professional can help you find the right product for such use.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
