The Q&A Archives: Feeding mistake:

Question: I just made a huge mistake and fed my vegetable garden with Miracle Grow food for acid loving plants. I did not read the label because I did not think I had anything left except regular Miracle Grow Vegetable garden food. What do I do to fix this problem? Is there anything I can add to neutralize this mistake? Please answer ASAP. Thank you for your time.

Answer: I don't think you have anything to worry about, especially if you didn't apply more fertilizer than was recommended on the label. Acidified fertilizer is only mildly acidic and should not hurt your vegetables in any way at all. Best wishes for a huge harvest!
