Mini roses are usually hardy varieties. They are planted and cared for the same as other roses. Depending on the specific variety they should rebloom during the summer for you, some more than others. Roses need a spot in full sun all day or at least half a day of direct sun. The soil should be evenly moist yet well drained. They need good air circulation. For most roses, removing the spent flowers will help the plant set additional buds to continue blooming. You could use an annual topdressing of compost along with an organic mulch to help feed the soil on an ongoing basis. Some gardeners will also use fertilizer such as an all purpose 10-10-10 in granular or slow release form, or as a water soluble formula. Read and follow the label instructions. Enjoy your rose!
