Tami,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question as we are transitioning to a new Q&A system. I hope this reply is not too late to be of help.

The best fertilizer for Bermudagrass in your area is any product with a 4-1-2 or 3-1-2 ratio of nutrients, such as 8-2-4 or 15-5-10. If the first number is from 6 to 10 apply 12 pounds per 1000 square feet of turf. If the first number is from 12 to 16 apply 7 pounds. If it is from 18 to 22 apply 5 pounds. Do this in mid April, late May, and late September. Mow as often as you can as this is an important key to making a Bermudagrass lawn look its best.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
