what can i do about birds eating the sprouts on my fruit trees? as soon as the sprouts comes out on my blood orange fruit tree and lemon trees the birds eat them.

I'm not sure why birds might be running off with the sprouts on your fruit trees, but you may want to drape some bird netting over the trees to act as a physical barrier. The netting will also protect any fruit your trees develop, and keep birds from nesting in the trees as well.
