I recently relocated to NC and love the cherry and dogwood trees. I am thinking of planting a few in the backyard. When is the best time to plant those trees?

Spring or fall are the best times to plant new trees. That's when the weather is mild and rainfall abundant. You can plant now, as long as you water regularly while the roots are becoming established. Enjoy your new landscape!
