| Photinia is a reasonably fast growing shrub, especially if you prune it on an annual basis. Cutting the shrub back each year may sound odd since you want it to grow quickly, but pruning encourages new growth and will help the plant remain dense and thick as well as growing taller. Photinia's are often planted within 5' of one another and used as a thick privacy hedge. |
