This plant Euphorbia milla likes ample direct sun and a lean soil on the dry side. Allow the surface to dry between waterings, but do not wait so long that the plant begins to shrivel. (It likes a well drained soil but it is not a cactus, so you do need to water it regularly.) When you do water, water thoroughly and allow any excess to drain out. Fertilize during the growing season of spring to fall with a water soluble fertilizer such as 10-10-10 plus minors, read and follow the directions for houseplants and use the lower rate. Take care when handling because not only does it have thorns, but the sap causes skin irritation. Enjoy!
