Gerbera daisies are from south Africa and make wonderful houseplants or annuals in the garden in your cold winter climate. Provide full sunshine and well draining soil for your plants and take them indoors before the temperatures drop below 50F at night. Indoors, place it in a sunny windowsill where it will get bright light. Enjoy your beautiful flowers!
