Answer: Pinching geraniums will not only make them bush out, but will increase the flower production, as well. If you remember that every time you pinch out a stem, two new stems will develop, you can simply look at the plant and determine where you'd like the new growth to appear. Then hold the stem between your fingers and pinch or cut the tip of the stem off. If you cut or pinch just above a node (leaf scar), two new stems will grow from the node.
