I PURCHASED 8 CROTONS TO LINE THE WALK WAY TO MY HOUSE, SOME ARNT DOING SO WELL, THE LEAVES ARE TURNING YELLOW AND LIMP. OTHERS ARE STILL IN VERY GOOD SHAPE, THE WEATHER IS ALMOST ALWAYS WARM HERE IN SOUTH TEXAS. SHOULD THIS PLANT BE PLANTED OUTDOORS? HOW DO I BRING BACK THE YELLOW LIMP ONES? |
Renee, I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question as we are transitioning to a new Q&A system. I hope this reply is not too late to be of help. Your crotons may be struggle from the shock of transplanting, a sudden change in light levels (to more light), dry soil conditions or soggy-wet soil conditions. Dig down a few inches and feel the soil to determine if it is drying out or is soggy. Keep the soil moist and give them some time to recover and adjust. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
