Bagworms on evergreens - Knowledgebase Question

I have evergreens that has that have bagworm infestation. What do you recommend to eliminate the current infestation and to eliminate future infestations?

Bagworms can be most easily controlled in the spring (usually May or early June) when they are in the crawler stage by spraying with Bt, Bacillus thuringiensis. You might check with your county extension for help in knowing when to apply it this spring. If it is just a minor infestation you could also hand pick the little bags off.
