I have numerous small garlic bulbs which I wish to replant in the spring. How do I accomplish this? |
Generally, garlic is planted in the fall since it needs a long growing season. You can plant the cloves in cell packs in winter, one per section. Then place the cellpacks in a sheltered outdoor spot. This will give them the cold period they need. In the spring they may be planted into the ground after sprouting. You might also want to plant a few cloves in pots for wintertime use as greens. |
