The Q&A Archives: Blackberries

Question: How do I get my Blackberries to produce more fruits?

Answer: Blackberries grow best in full sunshine and produce best when they're uncrowded. To encourage lots of new growth (and berries), prune the old canes down to 2-3' in the winter. In spring the old canes will produce new stems which will develop flowers and fruit. Enjoy!
