I'd like to plant a shrub or a bush in the corner of my backyard right behind my house by my fence. It would be in a corner. I would like it's hieght to be 4ft. tall, no more than 5ft. tall. This spot get gets the sun all day till around 5pm. Please tell me what would be good to plant there with the least amount of care?

There are many plants you could consider. You might like one of the smaller growing weigela cultivars such as Polka, a smaller spirea such as Spirea trilobata Swan Lake, or possibly even one of the Rosa rugosa cultivars. These are all easy care, low maintenance plants that would mature in the size range you indicated. Your local professional nursery staff and/or county extension may have some other suggestions based on a more detailed understanding of the growing conditions in the spot you want to plant (amount of wind, soil type, typical soil moisture, etc.) and your overall design goals.
