I planted white Pampas Grass last summer. They grew beuatifully, but no flowers. My question to you is it is the end of May and I do not see any new growth at this time. I did prune them down in the fall to about six inches. I am worried that maybe I should not have pruned them back at all. I'm concerned I may lose them. Thanks for any feedback.

Unfortunately, based on your decription, I am not completely certain which plant you purchased. However, Pampas Grass or Cortaderia selloana is only hardy to zone 7 and so would not be expected to survive the winter where you live. You might want to check back with your supplier as to what you have and what would be expected from it. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.
