Hi, I am trying really hard to have my landscape match my house. My Home is very Tuscan. The landscape designer chose Day Lillies and Gardenias in my courtyard. That doesn't sound very Tuscan to me. Do you have any plant selection ideas? I get a lot of shade and some afternoon sun. I was thinking of bay leaf, lavender white roses?
Help!

On Monrovia's website there's a design called "Tuscany Inspired Terrace". The plants include Compact Gold Coin Daisy, Lavender Cotton, French Lavender, Tuscan Blue Rosemary, Brilliancy Rock Rose, and Little Ollie. Here's a list of additional plants suitable for a Mediterranean garden: Artemisia absynthium 'Huntington Gardens', Berberis Thunbergii 'Atropurpurea', Buddleia Nanhoensis 'Petit Plum', Euphorbia x Martinii, Iris Unguicularis, Lavandula 'Munstead', Lavandula Latifolia, Lavatera Thuringiaca 'Barnsley', Lavender angustifolia 'Mitcham Grey', Lavender intermedia 'Grosso', and Sedum 'Vera Jameson'. Bay and white roses would set the garden off beautifully! Best wishes with your new garden!
