| I need a tree that will serve as the center of a large pot and hopefully survive the winter in Bend Oregon. The summers are hot, but this will only get morning sun. I want height and to plant things around the base seasonally. |
| Rather than try to plant a tree, how about a tall evergreen shrub instead? 'Green Tower' boxwood grows up to 9' tall and remains only 2' wide. These are hardy shrubs and adapt well to your climate. You can plant beneath them and have a wonderful display. |
