I live in Trinidad, in the West Indies. A friend of mine gave me gerberas seeds, what soil would be best for this?

You will need to use a soill-less potting mix that is organic, loose and well drained with a pH of between 5.5 and 6.2 for best results. Gerbera is not an easy plant to grow well but it is gorgeous in bloom. Here is some detailed information you may find helpful.
