I recently saw flowers in a vase that were striking. No one present knew what type of flower they were. The flowers grew on a stalk, similar to gladiolas. The flowers were tubular in a strong pink color with black stamens. If you have any idea what type of flower this may be, I would love to know. Apparently, the people present were asked this question repeatedly throughout the day. Thank you for your assistance.

That does sound striking, but I'm sorry, nothing comes to mind with the black stamens. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
