Chauck,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. We are transitioning to a new Q&A system and your question was unfortunately lost in the transition. I have discovered it now and hope this reply is not too late to be of help.

Those plants are easy to grow. Just decent soil drainage, moderate soil moisture and lots of sun for best results. They need very little extra fertilizer. Propagate them by digging up the clump in late winter and cutting it apart with a sharp shovel or butcher knife. Then reset the divisions and keep the soil moist until they have a good chance to get rooted and start growing well.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
