When do I use netting for fruit trees?

You'll want to protect the fruit on your trees before the birds discover it is ripe. So, place the netting over the tree a few weeks before it normally ripens. Or, if you don't know when it will ripen, place the netting over it now. The fruit will still ripen and birds will not be able to get to it. Best wishes with your fruit trees!
