The Q&A Archives: Japanese Maple, Coral Bark

Question: Do you sell younger (shorter) plants? I've seen your coral barks that are 10+ feet tall. I'd like to train a few into bonsai. They would be spectacular. Thanks!

Answer: I'm afraid the only way you can get a small coral bark maple is to plant your own seeds and raise a seedling. Seeds are often available through mail order sources. You might also contact a local Bonsai club. Members often have seeds to share. Best wishes with your garden!
