Should I be deadheading my annual Vinca in a hanging basket that a friend just bought me - once the flowers are spent? I know that perennial vinca likes shade - but the card on my annual says full-sun - is this correct? Thank you in advance. Susan Hedrick(zone 5)

Annual flowering vinca or Vinca rosea does not need deadheading. It does however need full sun or at least a solid half a day of direct sun to grow and bloom well. Enjoy!
